A noisy bed frame is annoying and can keep you awake for half the night. Most bed owners have no idea how to fix this problem so they just leave it. Strip Down the Bed

Start by removing all the sheets, blankets, mattresses, and any other bedding you may have. You should only be left with the support beams and frame for holding the mattress. Wooden frames don't usually squeak unless they contain very loose hinges. Metal frames squeak often, especially if they have not been oiled.
Locate the Problem
Try to find the source of the sound. On a metal bed, you should be able to precisely locate where the sound is coming from. A squeaking sound comes from several locations it may mean that there are several problems. This condition often occurs when the screws have come loose and start to rub against the frame.
Disassemble the Frame

Reassemble the Bed
Put the bed back together in the same way you took it apart. Remember to tighten all the screws thoroughly and make sure they are well lubricated. Once everything is reassembled, check the bed to see if the noise is gone.
