How to Make Your Foam Mattress Round

Step 5: Do one more so you have a pattern for the top and bottom of the foam mattress. Afterwards, measure the circumference of the round foam and then measure the height. Using the measurements, make a pattern out of it. Cut the fabric but leave an inch of allowance for the sewing part.

Step 6: now assemble the cover. Sew the edges carefully. One side should be left open for zipper. Sew zipper to the one side of the cover. Once you are done, cover the circular foam with it.

Everybody has heard about convertible sofa beds, but did you know that you can also get a convertible chair bed? Let's take a look at a couple of different styles, who makes them, and why you would want one.

Wholesale Interiors has only been around since 2002, and in a short time has become one of the largest furniture wholesalers in the country. They manufacture four different product lines in a wide range of styles ranging from traditional to modern. Some of their more unique styles is in the convertible chair bed. Their basic chair has a long fold up cushion which serves as the back, folds 90 degrees for the seat and then doubles back on itself to double the thickness of the seat. The cushion sits on a metal base with legs. The base extends out, and the back is adjustable to be upright, flat or half way in between. For a bed, pull out the legs, lay down the back and unfold the cushion. If you want a lounger, just recline the back 45 degrees, stretch out and relax!

But even more unique is their double convertible chair bed / sofa. This piece of furniture has two cushions similar to the one above, and is the ultimate piece of adjustable furniture. You can have them side by side on their base to resemble a couch. Or, the base will extend out sideways, separating the two cushions, to become two chairs with a low table between them. Or, you can then swivel the chairs to face each other with a small table in the middle. Finally, with both chairs facing forward, legs extend straight out to convert either one or both chairs into a bed, either fully reclined or with the back partially up like a lounger. The mattress you choose for your new baby is an important decision and with so many options on the market this guide will give you the information you need to make correct choice for your baby.

This style of mattress offers excellent air flow and is of course environmentally friendly. However we have noticed a move away from this type of mattress for children with allergies or asthma symptoms.

Spring
The spring mattress is rather like your own sprung mattress and is made from coil springs which provide posture, support and durability which in tern is sandwiched between two layers of foam. The mattress is also fully breathable.

This mattress is the ultimate in comfort and support made with a network of independent pocketed springs provides excellent support, helps prevent indentations and increases comfort as each spring responds individually to your child's sleeping position.

PurFlo Mattresses
The PurFlo mattress is available in two sizes to fit the most common cots or cotbeds. The PurFlo Mattress has a SleepSurface that allows free circulation of air around your child, and enables you to banish house Dust Mites and their excreta, which generate allergens linked to asthma, eczema and related diseases.

The SleepSurface is easily removed for washing at 60°C to eliminate allergens, bacteria and fungi. Conversely, traditional mattresses suffer, for example, from accumulations of allergens in their covers - which may be washable - and in their cores - from which they cannot be removed.

The PurFlo Mattress is safe for babies in the first few weeks after birth, when it is particularly important to ensure that they do not get too cold by virtue of its breathable surface, the mattress reduces the risk of overheating in older babies because it has lower thermal insulation than ordinary mattresses overheating, particularly when a baby has an acute infection, can be very dangerous the mattress prevents the pooling of exhaled carbon dioxide (CO2) and makes it less likely that this will be re-inhaled. There is evidence that in some circumstances rebreathing can be fatal to a baby.
